Finding Space - Introduction to Mindfulness for Leaders (Week 1)
Aimed at managers and team leaders interested in finding out more about Mindfulness but finding it hard to commit the time to attend a longer course. This is an extended introduction to how Mindfulness can support personal resilience, wellbeing, exercising choice, prioritising and responding rather than reacting.
Week 1 - What is Mindfulness?

Over 3 weeks colleagues will be introduced to some Mindfulness practices and encouraged to complete self-directed practice over the coming week before the next session. With virtual delivery in mind it will be limited to 15 colleagues per group and delivered via Microsoft Teams meeting.
How much personal practice colleagues do or how much they contribute to discussions in each session is entirely up to the individual. However, please be aware that, though Mindfulness practices are essentially very simple, they will generally have minimal impact without the practice part.
