Rest, Recover, Return - Here For Each Other's 3Rs Course

A pathway to wellbeing designed to support staff to improve their overall mental and physical wellbeing and return to work stronger

Rest, Recover, Return is a 5-week pathway to wellbeing designed to enhance the wellbeing of staff members who have been signed off sick from work (for at least 4 weeks) with some form of mild-moderate stress, anxiety, low mood, self-neglect, or other condition. This interactive program has been designed to support you to rest better, rediscover yourself, improve your overall wellbeing, and get you set for an energized return to work.

The following topics will be covered in the course:

  • Evidence-based exercises and stretches to improve overall mental wellbeing
  • Guided relaxation, and how to incorporate this into your routine
  • Understanding and managing stress
  • Making healthy lifestyle choices
  • Assertiveness in the workplace
  • Self-compassion
  • Exploring options surrounding your return to work

How to Register

We aim to support a maximum of 9 staff members per course to make sure all participants benefit from close interaction to get the best value out of the course. Therefore, registration will be on a rolling basis, after which the session schedule will be decided and communicated to each cohort before the first session.

Note: This course is free and open to all staff working in health and care organisations and the local unitary councils in Dorset. Participants do not need prior assessment before registering to join the course.
